A Louis XV style walnut secretarie, mid 20th century. This rectangular top piece with beveled and scalloped edges features a hinged front panel over a drop panel, false drawer front opening to two petite drawers and various sized storage compartments. The storage space sits above two full width, stacked drawers with dovetail joinery, recessed panels, and decorative brass hardware. The desk rises on cabriole legs terminating on shaped feet. There are no visible maker’s marks.
