Robert Best studied fashion design at Parsons, The New School for Design, where he was awarded Student Designer of the Year. After working for designers like Donna Karan and Isaac Mizrahi, Best came to Mattel where he worked his way up to his current position of Senior Director, Barbie Design. In 2006, he appeared as a contestant on the popular fashion reality television show, Project Runway.
