A collection of Isis Ceramics dinnerware by Deborah Sears, hand crafted and hand painted in the charming pattern ‘English Garden’. The assortment of dinnerware comprises three luncheon plates with scalloped edges, sixteen side plates with scalloped edges, one caudle cups and a cream and sugar set, each hand painted in blue to illustrate various English garden landscapes. Every piece is signed and numbered to the back.
Deborah Sears lives and works in a converted barn in Oxford, England. Her dinnerware is clearly inspired by 17th century Delftware and the techniques her artisan’s employ are similar. Her ceramics are on show in several prominent homes including Highgrove, the home of the Prince of Wales. The dinnerware in this collection was purchased from luxury retailer Goldsmith Cardel in Cincinnati, Ohio.
