Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Sarouk room sized rug. This wool pile rug commences with a diamond medallion comprised of intricate florals and flanked by palmette pendants. The curvilinear field is densely populated with floral and foliate motifs in hues of pink, red, blues, and cream. It has a dark blue primary border, framed by reciprocal and floral meander guard borders. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and wool warp fringe. A maker’s label was not visible.
