A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kashan rug. This wool pile rug has a detailed floral medallion set against a purple field strewn with leaves, vines, and palmettes, framed by purple and blue meandering floral borders. It is finished in hand overcast selvedges and cotton warp fringe.
