A vintage hand-knotted Persian Kashan palace sized rug. This wool pile rug has a scalloped and squared medallion in shades of red, brown, olive, ivory, and pale blue, against a red ground strewn with palmetttes and floral vines and branches. The compound borders all showcase meandering flower designs and the rug is finished with cotton warp fringe.
