A collection of World War II era toys, books and models. Featured are sixteen cast metal model warships of Australia, Britain and Germany. Markings include H.A. Framburg & Co. of Chicago and Superior Models, Inc. Four of the larger warship models are in original cardboard boxes. Also included are two black molded plastic airplane models, labeled ‘USA P-80’ and ‘USA P-61’. Completing the lot is a hardcover book titled, True Stories of World War II by Reader’s Digest (1980) and softcover books, The Fight at Pearl Harbor by Black Clark, Day of Infamy by Walter Lord, U.S. Navy War Photographs by US Camera of New York, a Simon and Schuster A War Atlas For Americans, and ‘giant size’ Pacific War Maps (fold-out).
