Item Details
A hand-knotted Afghan Bokhara wool rug. The rug features three guls in a palette of red, cream, black, and blue set within rectangular forms at the center of a red ground populated with smaller guls and bird shapes. The field is framed within a compound border and is finished with natural warp fringe and double overcast selvedges. No visible tags or maker’s marks are present.
