A 1985 graphite drawing on paper by listed artist David Miretsky (United States/Ukraine; born 1939) This drawing depicts a seated woman, one arm draped over the back of a simple chair, and the other clutching the purse that rests on her lap. This work is rendered in loose, energetic marks, with large areas portrayed with simple contour lines while other areas are rendered in more detail. - scattered foxing to drawing. Toning along upper edge and right side. Smudges to upper left. Stain to upper right corner. Light wear to frame.
