A hand-knotted Persian Heriz wool long rug. It features geometric medallions and tribal designs in a palette of deep red, black, blue-violet, teal, magenta, orange, brown, and ivory. A main blue-violet border is flanked by brown guard borders with stylized meandering flowers. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
