Item Details
A collection of vintage Scottish Mauchline tartan ware desk accessories in various red tartan plaids to include; a card case in the Prince Charlie tartan, an eyeglass case in the the Stuart pattern and a small stamp box in the McBeth plaid. The town of Mauchline in South West Scotland was renown for their wooden souvenirs, sewing implements and boxes in tartan plaids, manufactured during the 19th and early 20th century. The last producing factory burned to the ground in 1933.
