A hand-knotted Pakistani Baluch wool rug. This rug is rendered in a deep palette of indigo, brown, beige, green, red, and tan. The indigo hued field has two rows of stepped medallions each infilled with a branched form, while featuring an array of floral motifs throughout. Framing the field is are floral meander borders, along with a series of running dog borders. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe, with one end having colorful tassels. It is unlabeled.
