A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Heriz room-size rug. This rug features a large geometric, floral medallion in rust red, powder blue, cream, pale olive, taupe, dark blue, and camel, on a cream ground with rectilinear flowering vines and brown spandrels. The main rust red border mimics the hues of the medallion and features a stylized traditional Herati pattern. The rug is finished with short, knotted cotton warp fringe.
