Item Details
A hand-knotted Spanish Alpujarro wool rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of cream, orange, pale yellow, and olive green. The cream hued field features a lattice design of endless knots, and stylized palmettes. Framing the field is an unresolved main chained medallion border, as well as diagonal stripe guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a fine wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
