A hand-knotted Persian Yalameh wool rug. This rug is rendered in a variegated and slight abrash palette of deep red, brown, cream, bright pink, gray, and golden yellow. The deep red hued field begins with a diamond medallion infilled with a tree motif, while featuring cruciform shapes near the ends. Framing the field is a main cream colored stylized bird head border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
