A hand-knotted Indo-Persian Tabriz wool rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of red, green, blue-violet, cream, pink, light blue, and yellow. The red hued field begins with a lobed pendant medallion infilled and surrounded by floral motifs including sprays, and blooms throughout, while enclosed by cream grounded spandrels with the same theme and a central palmette. Framing the field is a light green main chained floret border, and a checked minor strip. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
