A hand-knotted and embroidered Baluch Mashwani wool runner. This rug is rendered in a deep palette of red and blue with accents of tan. The textured field features five diamond medallions enclosed by hooked partial medallions along the edges. Framing the field is a main stylized meander border, along with a stepped guard border, and a long striped kilim skirt to the ends. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
