A hand-knotted Pakistani Kazak carpet runner. This wool rug is rendered in a palette of red, blue, ivory, golden tan, and beige. It features an infinity pattern beginning with five starburst medallions arranged vertically over a red hued colored field. Each medallion encloses a gul with out-pointing arrows amid abstract motifs. Framing the field is an unresolved major border featuring alternating boxed florets and geometric Shirvan-style bracket motifs. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at either end with ivory cotton warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
