A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Lilihan wool rug. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of red-violet, blue, and tan. The red-violet hued field begins with a central floral medallion enclosed by floral sprays, palmettes, leaves, and cloud band forms. Framing the field is a main chained boteh and floret border over indigo, as well as a pair of carnation meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
