A semi-antique hand-knotted Caucasian Shirvan wool rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of pink, blue, green, wine, and brown. The pink hued field features a stylized Bijov design with palmettes, flowers, leaves, and added small animal motifs. Framing the field is a main angular border, along with sawtooth guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and the remains of bound ends. It is unlabeled.
