Item Details
A silver plate centerpiece bowl by the Pairpoint Manufacturing Company, producers of silver plate from 1880 until 1929 in New Bedford, Massachusetts. This Art Nouveau style centerpiece features two scrolled foliate motif handles, a ruffled floral motif rim, a script letter ‘G’ engraved to its body, and an oblong quatrefoil-shaped base. It is stamped to its underside, ‘Pairpoint Mfg. Co. – Quadruple Plate – New Bedford, Mass.’ along with shape number 5549.
