Federal Style Mahogany Dresser and Mirror by Drexel Furniture, Mid-20th Century
Item Details
A dresser and mirror by Drexel Furniture. This mahogany tone dresser features leaf carved stiles with fluting below, over French bracket feet, and an unadorned center stile. It is designed with six total curved drawers, with rolled edge detailing, oval classical pull hardware and dovetail drawer construction. The upper drawers appear to be two shallow drawers but are just one, while the left side drawer is divided to the interior with small trays. The rectangular mirror features corner rosette blocks, with center beaded detailing along the entire frame. The mirror has metal rods to hold it in place. Please see 18CIN586-065 and 18CIN586-067 for companion items. This item is located on the second floor. Please bring tools to remove the mirror from the dresser.
