Porcelain Plates including Antique Haviland Limoges
Item Details
A pairing of porcelain oyster plates. Featured is an antique Haviland Limoges plate with muted pink and blue floral sprays to the white body and molded scroll borders to the oval wells. It bears a maker’s mark placing production circa 1876-89 and an importer mark for Ovington Brothers of Brooklyn. Also included is a plate offering hand-painted gilt foliate designs to the cobalt verge that bears a faux Limoges mark to the underside.
