Possibly intended for the cover of a magazine, this work features a fisherman catching a trout. The illustration resembles typical covers of outdoor magazines with the game fish portrayed in large-scale in the immediate foreground and the fisherman rendered in smaller scale in the middle-ground. Signed “Griffith” to the lower right, this work is presented under glass in a brown wood frame with a canvas liner. The title and the artist’s name are inscribed to the verso.
