Louis XV Style Walnut Side Table with Ormolu Mounts, Early 20th Century

A Louis XV style walnut veneer side table, early 20th century. This rectangular top piece with curved edges and decorative inlay features pierced brass rails over a serpentine facade with book matched veneers. The table features a sliding rail above two full width, stacked drawers. The dovetail joinery drawers feature brass hardware. The case features ormolu mounts including acanthus leaf embellishments, wreath and drapery swag, and ram’s head motifs. The table rises on curved legs with capped feet.
