Louis XV Style Mahogany Finish Cabinet, 20th Century

Item Details

A Louis XV style demilune cabinet. It has a green marble top with white veining on a wooden body with a drawer over a center cabinet door on cabriole legs. The drawer face and top of the sides have ormolu style mounts depicting foliate swags on geometric borders, with floral drops in between. The cabinet and sides are bordered with repeating palms, while the escutcheon, apron ornament, and feet all have ribbon and floral detailing.
