A 20th century mahogany and marquetry tambour desk. The tambour doors open to a secretary style arrangement of divided shelving, drawers, and a small cabinet. A curved front drawer stretches across the front, and the desk stands on tapered block legs on small wheels. The piece is decorated throughout with inlays of drops and swags of bell flowers, sunburst medallions, light borders, and checked edges.
