Item Details

An antique German paper mâché sheep pull toy, c. 19th century. This item features a sculpted sheep flocked with flannel, fabric saddle and paper straps. The sheep rests on four black wooden hooves with wheels attached. There are no discernible maker’s marks. ‘Germany’ is stamped on the verso.

Condition

- saddle is faded and has pressure sensitive tape adhered to the surface of paper strap.
