Reuge Italian Wooden Music Box

A Reuge Italian wooden music box. This music box was made in Italy by the famous Swiss musical toy manufacturer Reuge. It features a green lacquered wooden case with a gold and silver floral design on its lid and rests on four gold metal feet. The lid lifts on gold metal hinges to reveal an inset glass window through which the wind-up musical wheel can be seen. On the bottom of the box can be found the wind-up dial, as well as stickers identifying the box’s manufacturers. When wound, the music box plays the tune ‘Unchained Melody.’
