An early 20th landscape by Cincinnati artist Rudolf Tschudi (1855-1923). This vintage oil painting on canvas features a tree lined narrow walking path depicting a lone individual walking. The painting is signed to the lower right “R. Tschudi” and dated 1932. The art is presented in a carved dark stained wood frame with a distressed edge. The reverse includes a sticker ’Suder’s Art Store,’ with a wire to hang. Rudolf Tschudi was born in Switzerland but lived most of his life in Cincinnati. Tshudi specializes in landscapes, still lifes and portraits.
