A hand-knotted Persian Kurdish wool rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of black. cream. blue, pink, violet, orange, and brown. The black hued field features a rectilinear designed allover flowering plant and tree design, interrupted by a cream grounded hexagonal medallion. Framing the field is a main blue grounded floral meander border, along with meandering guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
