A hand-knotted Turkish patchwork area rug from Blue Ocean Traders. This wool pile rug is rendered in a variegated colorway of deep reds, teal, bright pink, black, orange, and grey over an ivory ground. The field is comprised of rectangular patchwork pieces, each infilled with either floral or foliate motifs and hand stitched together. The rug is finished with a denim colored fabric backing and hand overcast selvedges. A label to the reverse reads ‘Made in Turkey’.
