A monumental oil painting on canvas titled Teton Morning by contemporary artist Hermon Adams (b. 1945). This work features a picturesque view of the Teton Mountains with a Native American man on horseback in the foreground. Signed to the lower right, the painting is presented in an Arts & Crafts style gold-tone gesso and wood frame. To the verso are American West Frame stamps and an inscription from Mountain Trails Gallery.

Hermon Adams is especially known for his paintings of landscapes, Native Americans, horses, wildlife and American Western themes. The artist grew up training horses, working on ranches and his family’s cattle farm, a background that deeply influenced his art. Previously, he worked with the Franklin Mint as one of their best-selling plate artists. Adams is represented in multiple galleries throughout the country, and his work has been reproduced and published in Landmark Calendars, Leanin’ Tree greeting cards, Tree Free greeting cards, paperback books, and playing cards, among other visual ephemera.
