An original painted deer hide by Gloria D’ depicting a colorful herd of running horses with mounted native American figure to the lower right. The scene is embellished with lines of white beads and is signed to the lower right. The hide is mounted to wood with screw hooks for hanging.

Self-taught artist Gloria D’ has lived in South Dakota for over 20 years, where she has created art inspired by Native American culture and religion. The artist works with a variety of media, producing spirit sticks, pelts, hides, and other mixed media works. Her work has been represented by multiple galleries including the Mountain Trails Art Gallery in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
