An etching with aquatint on deckle edge paper by listed artist Milton Weiss (American; 1912-1995). The piece depicts a chaotic abstract composition comprised of geometric and undulating blue delineations fused within a vibrant red ground. The work is unsigned and unnumbered. The composition is presented unframed.

Milton G. Weiss was an active artist in the Pittsburgh community for many years. He studied at the Irene Kaufmann Settlement with Sam Rosenberg and also spent a year at the Art Students League in New York. Weiss was employed as a WPA artist in Pittsburgh and a member of the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh. He taught at Ivy School of Professional Art and the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.

- irregularities, minor wear, negligible dents and small pinhole perforations to corners from previous display throughout the edges of paper; minor toning, negligible stains and minor scrtaches throughout the margins of paper.
