A hand-knotted Persian Hamadan wool runner. This rug is rendered in an abrash palette of indigo, red, pink, gray, ivory, and brown. The indigo hued field features an allover rectilinear floral design beginning with a central medallion, while framed in a main gray to blue grounded floral meander border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to one end, and a bound kilim skirt to the other. It is unlabeled.
