A hand-knotted Caucasian Kazak wool runner. This rug is rendered in a palette of red, blue, tan, orange, and ivory. The red hued field features four hooked hexagonal forms infilled with hooked diamonds and ashik motifs. Framing the field is a main octagram border over tan, along with a chained diamond guard border. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
