Item Details
A circa 1900 antique handwoven silk crepe formal crested furisode kimono, hand decorated with yuzen resist dyed design, surihaku metallic gold leaf accents and metallic gold couching and metallic gold embroidery. This multicolored kimono features kasamatsu (pine), momiji (autumn leaves), kiku (chrysanthemum), ume (plum blossom), sasanoha (bamboo leaf) and sensu (folding fan) motifs. It is accented with seigaiha (wave) and kanoko patterns. White silk and yuzen resist dyed silk crepe line the interior.
