A semi-antique hand-knotted Persian Baluch accent rug. This wool pile rug is woven in deep tones of red, blue, and tan, with accents of ivory. It commences with a pair of boxed medallions infilled with plant forms, eight pointed stars, and rectilinear fillers. Framing the field are foliate themed guard borders, while the primary border displays a floral pattern over deep blue. The rug is finished with double overcast selvedges, kilim skirt, and wool warp fringe. It is unlabeled.
