Hand-Knotted Persian Baluch Wool Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Baluch wool rug. This rug is rendered in a deep palette of brown, indigo, burgundy, beige, and golden tan. The brown hued field features a lattice of rectilinear designed full and partial medallions infilled with serrated forms. Framing the field is a main stylized bracket border with an indigo ground, as well as a meander guard border, and a floral minor border. Finishing this rug are double overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
