Item Details
A hand-knotted Turkmen Bokhara wool room sized rug. This rug has a red hued field features a lattice of Tekke guls and chemche guls in colors of ivory, black, and peach. Framing the field is a main rosette border, as well as geometrically designed guard borders, and Tekke elem panels. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe with a sewn-on fringe over it. It is unlabeled.
