Item Details
A vintage hand-knotted Persian Tabriz room sized rug. This wool pile rug is rendered in a vibrant palette of deep red, blue, green, and orange with accents of yellow, salmon, and ivory throughout. A large pendant medallion on a scarlet field centers the carpet, with detailed spandrels and flower and leaf guard borders. The primary border is unresolved and features a variety of floral and palmette motifs. Finishing the rug are overcast selvedges and a short warp fringe to the ends. It is unlabeled.
