A selection of books featuring the illustrations of Charles Dana Gibson and a copy of Yours Truly: And One Hundred Other Original Drawings. This selection features four hardcover books published by R. H. Russell and Charles Scribner’s Sons of New York; and John Lane of London. The titles include two copies of Our Neighbors (1905); Sketches and Cartoons (1898); and Drawings (1895). Charles Dana Gibson (1867-1944) was an illustrator for Life magazine and created the iconic Gibson Girl which personified female physical beauty. Also included is a tenth edition copy of Yours Truly: And One Hundred Other Original Drawings (Judge Company, 1911) which features drawings by various artists including James Montgomery Flagg, V. A. Svoboda, Anthony Guarino, Charles Sarka, and others.
