Dated 1858 E & D. Kinsey Sterling Silver Mint Julep Cup
Item Details
A sterling silver mint julep cup dated 1858, hallmarked to have been made by by brothers Edward and David Kinsey who were active silversmiths in Cincinnati, Ohio from 1844 – 1861. The cylindrical cup is tapered slightly with two raised bands at both the top and bottom rim. The cup is engraved in script to the front reading ’Adolphus H. Smith 1858 John T. Harbine, Xenia, Ohio. The approximate weight is 5.125 ozt.

- faint markings throughout and slight dent
