Oscar Murillo was a prominent figure in the 1960s and 1970s Los Angeles art scene. Born in Mexico, he immigrated to the United States and settled permanently in the San Fernando Valley. He studied at San Fernando Valley State College (known today as Cal State Northridge) and received his Bachelors and Masters of Fine Arts. Murillo remained active in his community, teaching art and exhibiting his art in galleries in San Fernando Valley, CA and Santé Fe, NM.

Condition

- heavy wear to edges of papers; heavy creasing throughout images; dust and accretions present to papers; smudging due to excess pigment and contact with pastel drawings; one inch tears to edges of papers; papers tend to curl; toning to papers; repairs to tears with tape to lower right edge of larger piece; heavy tearing to corners of papers resulting in some loss of media.
