Hand-Knotted Persian Bijar Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Bijar area rug. This rug is rendered in a palette of rust, brown, cream, navy, mustard, peach, red, and light blue. The rust hued field features an allover herati design that flows over the diamond pendant medallion and layered cream and navy grounded spandrels. Framing the field is a main stylized herati border over brown, along with Hamadan, and geometrically designed guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a cotton warp fringe to the ends. It is labeled ‘Made in Iran’.
