A hand-knotted Persian Qom wool carpet runner. This rug features a diamond medallion with clusters of flowers and boteh motifs on a cream ground enclosed by burgundy spandrels. It has a burgundy main border, flanked by carnation meander guard stripes in camel and dark blue. The rug is finished with overcast selvedges and wool warp fringe. It does not bear a maker’s label.
