Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Kurdish Bijar area rug. This rug features a starburst medallion on a field with stylized flowers and flower filled vases in a palette of rust, pale blue, pink, light green, beige, and brown. Framing the field is a main floral meander border over light blue, as well as carnation meander guard borders. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is labeled ‘Made in Iran’.
