Hand-Knotted Persian Tabriz Wool Area Rug
Item Details
A hand-knotted Persian Tabriz wool area rug. The open red field features a starburst pendant medallion enclosed by coordinating spandrels with an ivory ground. Other field and border colors include shades of blue, green, maroon, pale yellow, and aqua. It has a main border with repeating floral medallions and leaves, flanked by meandering floral guard borders over aqua. Finishing this rug are overcast selvedges and a wool warp fringe to the ends. It is labeled ‘Made in Iran’.
