Item Details
A circa 1920 vintage Japanese handwoven omeshi silk damask kofurisode kimono, hand decorated with stencil-dyed design. This purple and magenta kanoko pattern damask silk kimono features a kusudama (decorative ball) motif filled with botan (peony) and kiku (chrysanthemum) flowers and tasseled ends to the ribbons. The sleeves and interior are fully lined in red and magenta silk.
Condition
- stain to interior sleeve lining, loose threads around seams throughout, stain to front of kimono.
